Access to Community Spaces
How are we doing?
61.6% of the Population has access to adequate parks or community spaces.
How is it measured?
This new expanded indicator measures the percentage of the population living within a quarter mile of adequate parks or community spaces. Adequate, in this instance, is defined as equal to or greater than 300 sq. ft per residence (dwelling unit).
Why is it important?
This measures the capacity/adequacy of community spaces.
Where are we going?
This is a new expanded indicator. The County will be implementing and monitoring this measure to help ensure that there is adequate community space for our residents as defined by our General Plan.
